This Privacy Policy describes how Saarthee Fleet Manager ("we," "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our fleet management software.
1. Information We Collect
Account information
When you sign up via Clerk, we receive your Clerk user ID, email address, and name (if provided). This is stored in our platform_users table.
Operational data you provide
Data you enter into the Service, including rides, expenses, fleet vehicles, Turo bookings, iCal feed URLs, settings, and uploaded QR payment images.
Technical data
Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps) may be collected by Vercel for hosting, security, and performance. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
2. How We Use Information
- Provide and maintain the Service (scheduling, reporting, Turo sync)
- Authenticate users and enforce account roles (host vs. superadmin)
- Respond to support requests and prevent abuse
- Improve reliability and security of the platform
We do not sell your personal information or operational data to third parties.
3. Data Storage and Processors
- Neon Postgres — structured operational data (US region)
- Clerk — authentication and session management
- Vercel — application hosting and serverless functions
- Vercel Blob — QR code image storage
These providers process data on our behalf under their respective privacy policies and data processing terms.
4. Data Isolation
Host accounts can access only their own rides, vehicles, expenses, and Turo data. Data is scoped by your Clerk user ID in the database.
5. Superadmin Access
Platform administrators (superadmin role) may access tenant metadata — such as email, account status, and usage — for support, abuse prevention, and platform operations. Administrative actions are logged in an audit table. Superadmins do not routinely access your operational ride or financial details except when required for support with your consent or legal obligation.
6. Data Retention
We retain your data while your account is active. Upon account deletion request, we will delete or anonymize personal data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.
7. Your Rights
You may:
- Access and export your data via the in-app CSV export feature
- Update account information through Clerk
- Request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us
If you are in the EU/EEA or other jurisdictions with privacy rights, you may have additional rights (access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability). Contact us to exercise these rights.
8. Security
We use industry-standard practices including HTTPS encryption, authenticated API routes, and scoped database access. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; you use the Service at your own risk.
9. Cookies
Clerk uses cookies and similar technologies for authentication sessions. We do not use advertising cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling them may prevent sign-in.
10. Children
The Service is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
11. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
